The Company was listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (now Indonesia Stock Exchange) in 1995. Then changed its name to PT Bakrieland Development Tbk in 1997. The Company acquired 73.48% of Bakrie Swasakti Utama’s share in 2004. Currently, Bakrieland is an integrated area developer company which focus on property development and related property projects in Indonesia.

By capitalizing the market in IDX amounting to Rp1.43 bilion in the end of 2008, it confirms Bakrieland as one of the highest market capitalization companies in property sector. As the first and the biggest Superblock developer in main business area in Jakarta, which is Rasuna Epicentrum Kuningan, Bakrieland had also been successful in developing various city property projects, housing area, world class hotel and resort in some strategic and prestigious locations in Indonesia, as well as other infrastructure and related property business. All Bakrieland projects have ecofriendly characteristics.
