JAKARTA, October 16th, 2011 - PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (“BNBR” or the “Company”) earlier disclosed on 7th October 2011 that it is considering to repay and/or restructure its loan facility of US$ 597 million initially arranged by Credit Suisse (“CS Loan”), in due course.
BNBR is pleased to announce that it is in final negotiations and documentation of a new financing facility to enable BNBR satisfactorily resolve any issues in the CS Loan through a combination of partial repayment of existing lenders and rolling the balance into a new facility. BNBR’s management is focused to conclude the new facility on or around 31st October 2011.
The Company will make appropriate disclosures upon completion of all relevant discussions and documentation”.
